Verified Reviewer |ER is a joke
- - ER visit for 3-week headache; Dr. Morris showed no empathy and mocked sinus infection; doctor diagnosed sinusitis and prescribed antibiotics.
This review is for the ER location at 323 E Riverside Dr Eagle, ID 83616
This review is for the ER location at 323 E Riverside Dr Eagle, ID 83616
There is an article out today about Leslie Montgomery and her issues with a newly constructed house in the Treasure Valley and the toxins she was exposed to, the serious medical consequences her family is experiencing, and how little the people involved seem to care. I tried to tell the doctor that we had been through a very similar situation, and he acted as if he didn't care in the slightest or as if I was just some neurotic woman who didn't know what she was talking about.
I told him why I thought maybe it was a sinus infection - he merely mocked that idea along with several others, all while not offering a single solution or anything to help. He didn't even try to pretend to examine me to determine if it was sinus-related or not. After I pushed back time and time again and suggested some IV fluids for the dehydration if nothing else, he finally relented and allowed that at least.
On Thursday, I saw my regular doctor, and he agreed with the sinus infection diagnosis, gave me antibiotics, and two days later, I am feeling 90% better.
The nurses weren't any better - the nurse who came in turned the lights back on, hooked me up, and walked out without turning them back off. I had to get up myself, carrying my IV bag, to turn them off. A group of nurses was standing right outside my door, laughing and goofing off. I reminded them of my headache, and they moved 5 or 6 steps away and continued. Their behavior made it clear that there was really nothing going on and everyone had plenty of time, but still, they showed a complete lack of decency and indifference towards this massive headache I was having.
The reviews of Dr. Morris on other sites say the same thing - he completely lacks in caring for patients, just going through the motions as though there isn't a care in the world. The entire staff had the same attitude. It was simply absurd.
- Close to home
Preferred solution: Bill has not been received yet.
User's recommendation: Stay away from any urgent care on or slightly off Meridian.

- - MyChart notes were inconsistent.
- - X-rays/CT declined; I felt labeled a drug seeker.
- - A drug test was done without my consent; care felt biased.
I recently had another very disappointing experience at the ER following a motor vehicle accident (MVA). As a chronic pain patient, I approached them reluctantly, hoping for proper care and understanding. Unfortunately, the treatment I received was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, the documentation in MyChart was extremely inconsistent. There were multiple inaccuracies, including things I never mentioned or, worse, the complete opposite of my statements. This miscommunication made me feel unheard and dismissed, especially after an event that left me in pain.
As someone who is accustomed to living with chronic pain, I was frustrated that my new injuries weren't taken seriously. When I requested assistance in the form of X-rays or a CT scan to address my concerns, my requests were flatly declined. Instead, I felt pushed back toward my primary care physician and specialists without receiving any real help in the moment.
I also felt unjustly judged throughout the whole process. In my prior visits, there was a clear presumption that I was seeking drugs, simply because of my history with pain management. It was degrading to be treated as if I were a drug seeker; in prior visits, I was even subjected to scrutiny for possible track marks. I offered to take a drug test to prove that I wasn't seeking narcotics, but they refused both my offers. In a prior visit, they did a drug test without my consent, despite the fact that I passed it later on.
Overall, my experience left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. It's disheartening to feel like I have to avoid this ER entirely due to their biases against patients with chronic pain. Their approach is far from compassionate, and I cannot recommend this ER to anyone who may genuinely need care. I hope they can improve their understanding and treatment of chronic pain patients in the future.
- Accessibility
- Not taken seriously
- Ignore concerns
- Incorrect information noted in my account
Preferred solution: My chart notes at the very least corrected and apology for terrible treatment and incorrect notes as well.
User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs!

- - Older man at the hospital cafeteria voiced racist views.
- - The hospital is described as segregated with Whites in charge.
- - They plan to move.
I recently found myself at St. Alphonsus, Ont.
OR. As a frequent patron of a couple of local watering holes in a few different places, I overheard an older gentleman who was visibly intoxicated. He was talking about how Ontario was a far superior place when the Beaners and Spicks were kept on the outskirts of town, and there were no Blacks around. He claimed it was a much better place back then.
Interestingly, I see his picture by the cafeteria in the hospital. He is an older gentleman in a green shirt. I was told that this place is some sort of racially segregated community, reflected by the hospital. For some unknown reason, the hospital in Ontario seems to be involved with the city council, which concerns me.
In fact, I am so concerned that I've decided to move because I find this place displeasing. I also noticed that it seems like Whites are predominantly in charge. The few Mexicans I have seen seemed subdued and perpetually anxious about losing their jobs.
There were no Blacks in sight. If the hospital truly mirrors the community, then Ontario is an unsettling place to live.

Verified Reviewer |Misdiagnosis killed my mother
- - Misdiagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer from biopsy.
- - Treated for roughly 9 months before reevaluation.
- - TNBC diagnosis came too late to gain control.
My mother was misdiagnosed by a pathologist who received results from a biopsy ( The pathologist was Jack Chaffin ).
My mom was told that she had stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to her brain. She started treatment shortly after the diagnosis.
She was treated for "lung" cancer for roughly bout 9 months before having an allergic reaction that landed her in the ER and on oxygen full time.
At that point her Nampa care team decide to re evaluate her to see why she wasn't successfully responding to all the different chemo and immunotherapy treatments that she was on and had tried. She ended up being told she may had been misdiagnosed!!!
Back to the biopsy block after a roller coaster and having to outsource to third party to help determine the type of cancer, it was eventually determined that she had Triple Negative Breast Cancer. TNBC needs specific treatment because it is so aggressive and fast growing.
Unfortunately by the time the team was able to figure out the correct diagnosis it was too late to gain control of the cancer and she lost the battle.
The experience was hard on her on a mental and physical side. I and she believed that she was treated carelessly and with no remorse for the misdiagnosis which caused her ( Especially her ) myself, my siblings and her grandkids extreme trauma and pain.
She was a person, a human!
All that the hospital saw was number.
Just another day another body.
St. Alphonsus you killed my mother faster.
- Some nice staff
- Dont care they just write people off
Preferred solution: Accountability, Apology, Compensation for negligence

- - My mother was treated for a spider bite; bedside manners were poor.
- - A neighbor with diabetes was given insulin and had a coma and stroke.
I will be going to St.Luke's
My mother was treated for a spider bite and the doctor who saw her was terrible. This was the most worst bedside manners she has ever witnessed.
Doctors and nurses should take bedside manners a little more serious when they are treating their patients and not make feel like they are not worthy of anything. This was 4 years ago and a year later one of our neighbors was sent here to St.Alphonsuss to be treated for diabetes,Parkinsons disease, and kidney stones.
They chose to give his insulin and he went into a diabetic coma and a stroke. He never recovered.

Verified Reviewer |The Hospital staff are murders.
- - They killed my daughter for the $40000 they got for her death.
- - They lied, wouldn’t let my son-in-law see her, and didn’t help her.
They killed my daughter for the $40000 they got for her death.
My daughter came into the hospital sick, they where supposed to have helped her. But they did everything possible to made sure she died.
Even telling my son-in-law there's not much they can do for her. They lied.
They wouldn't let my son-in-law she her while she was there. They caused my grandkids to be raised without their mother all in the name of the money they got for her death.
- Value money more than human life
Preferred solution: The money they got for killing my daughter for my grandkids.

Verified ReviewerI had a rotator cuff surgery with other complications. The surgeon, staff, Sister Mary Lou, recovery team all were outstanding. The patient prep room anesthesiologist was a complete ***
- - Anesthesiologist failed to communicate about the On-Q block and caused a delay; other staff were professional and the team is highly recommended.
The anesthesiologist on duty in the patient prep room did not, and it was quite clear unable to, communicate what was happening and when I questioned him about the surgeon's instructions to me for an On Q ball he became dismissive and told me they NEVER put one in for just a rotator cuff repair. I emphasized the surgeons instructions.
He stormed out and said he will go see about this. He came back and advised me that the surgeon wanted one. He assembled the necessary equipment and made me wait for a little over an hour to insert it. He put the surgery team behind schedule.
This anesthesiologist should never be allowed to interact with a patient. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but he needs to leave his feelings at the hospital entrance or take a day off.
Everyone else was professional, and I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs this surgery.

- - Same procedure billed differently on four visits at Saint Alphonsus Wound Clinic.
- - Repeated calls about coding, insurance denied two days, no callback.
I visited the Saint Alphonsus, Wound Clinic in June and July 2022. The amount charged for two of those days was different than the amount charged on the other two days even though I had the same procedure done on all four days.
I have repeatedly called the Wound Clinic for explanations on their coding system, which was different and caused my insurance not to pay for the charges on two of the four days.
They always said they would call back. This went on for over a year and I never and still have never received a callback.

Verified ReviewerHorrible service
- - Waited almost two hours in ER; others were seen before us.
- - Boyfriend had low oxygen; after primary care he was seen immediately; we won't return.
Waited in the waiting room at emergency for almost two hours, while people that came in after us were seen before us. My boyfriend came in with breathing problems and weakness, and they told us they don't go by the time you've been there which didn't make any sense to me.
But after went to primary health and his oxygen level was so low seen immediately. Huh shows what St. Al's knows. Never will go again to that hospital.
It's too bad they don't know how to treat people.
Don't go to that hospital. We left the hospital got tired of the wait for someone that needed to be seen right away
User's recommendation: Don't go there if you have an emergency
